| dc.description.abstract | The primary purpose of the research was to look at how process innovation affects manufacturing companies' operational performance through the mediating function of product packaging. The study used a cross-sectional explanatory survey methodology, and quantitative data was analysed using inductive reasoning. Quantitative approaches were employed in all phases from data collection and analysis to interpretation. The study included 220 high-ranking business professionals from supply chain and logistics, manufacturing, quality control, and related fields. Participants were purposively selected for the study. Using structural equation modeling, the study confirmed the hypotheses (smartpls 4). The data was presented using descriptive statistics. According to the results, process innovation has positive and significant effect on operational performance of the manufacturing firms. The research also found that product packaging mediated the association between process innovation and operational performance. The implication of the results is that manufacturing enterprises would benefit from greater operational performance if they invested in process innovation and product packaging. | |
