Continuous review model in which a fraction of demand is backordered and the remaining fraction is lost during the stock out period are considered under fuzzy environment. Fuzziness is introduced by allowing the cost components not clear and vague to certain extent. Trapezoidal fuzzy numbers are used to represent these characteristics. The optimum policy of this model under fuzzy costs are derived. The values are now determined numerically and the sensitivity in the decision variables are highlighted and described.en_US
