| dc.description.abstract | Health insurance is a form of insurance in which people pool their resources together to pay for medical expenses that are incurred by the insured. Claims payment by the National Health Insurance Scheme remained challenging, the monthly health care of claims payment by National Health Insurance Scheme seems to be rising. This study presents an Auto Regressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) model to see the pattern of growth. Time series claims payment data for the Aowin-Suaman District Mutual Health Insurance Scheme (DMHIS) for the period January 2010 to November 2014 were analyze using time series methods. Appropriate Box-Jenkins model was fitted. From the result, it was clear that ARIMA(1,1,0) model was the best for forecasting claims payment. | en_US |
