The Effect of Sustainable Supply Chain Management on Green Performance in the Ghanaian Manufacturing Sector: The Moderating Role of Top Management Commitment

Abstract
The study sought to examine the effect of sustainable supply chain management practices on green performance and the moderation effect of top management commitment. The study adopted the convenience sampling technique to a sample size of 110. Also, the study deployed the semi-structured with the help of google form to gather data from the respondents. It could be noted that, the Smart PLS4, version 23 was used to analysed the data. As indicated in the research findings, top management commitment insignificantly moderates the relationship between sustainable supply chain and green performance. the study found that, sustainable supply chain management practices positively and significantly are related, which support H1. Again, the study found a positive and significant relationship between top management commitment and green performance, supporting the Hypothesis 2. Further, top management commitment insignificantly moderates the relationship between sustainable supply chain management practices and green performance. However, future studies are therefore recommended to conduct a comparative analysis between the manufacturing and service sectors on sustainable procurement and its effect on green performance.
